St Cuthbert's Way
This is a journey through the life and times of the 7th century St Cuthbert, through the varied scenery of the Scottish border country.
We start as St Cuthbert did at Melrose Abbey from where we head south east to cross the Eildon Hills with far reaching views, after passing the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey on the banks of the river Tweed we follow the Roman Dere Street to cross the river Teviot close to Jedburgh Abbey, turning east to pass the imposing tower of Cessford Castle the next stop is Kirk
