Golden Anniversary Concert
On February 6th 2016 the orchestra will be giving its Golden Anniversary Gala Concert in its usual venue of Guthlaxton College, now called Wigston College, fifty years and one day after the inaugural concert back in 1966! Starting at 7.30pm, the programme will include the Prelude to the 'Meistersingers' by Wagner and the lively and appealing 'Scottish Dances' by Malcolm Arnold.
