Gogmagog - Plymouth's Lost Legend
Stiltskin perform their much loved show “Gogmagog: Plymouth's Lost Legend ” to celebrate National Storytelling Week.
This epic story is based on the Plymouth legend of Gogmagog the giant whose figure was once carved into the limestone on Plymouth’s Hoe. During the Elizabethan times the payment for the upkeep of the figure, by a gardener, is recorded in a book kept in Plymouth’s records office.
