Gardens Open for Charity: Hollytree Lodge
A tranquil garden in the centre of the village of Pool of Muckhart, divided by internal beech hedges into smaller areas. These include a small Japanese garden, spring bulbs naturalised in grass, a mini orchard and wildflowers, a rill, a wildlife pond, mixed herbaceous borders, and various types of roses, all within an acre plot. We have an interesting variety of unusual trees and shrubs including a good collection of rhododendrons and deciduous azaleas, a snow gum, a Metasequoia glyptostroboide
