Charity Garden Open Day: Newmills Cottage
Surviving mill in a series of 5 built in 1864. Well established colourful garden on different levels sloping down to the burn. The garden is divided into different areas with pots and hanging baskets filling areas which cannot be planted. There is also a pond. Steps down the garden are steep but it can be accessed from a gate on the road if needed and can still be seen from the lower level. Lovely colour and planting in a very peaceful setting. The garden has been extended since last opening in
