Gardens Open for Charity: Hospitalfield Gardens

Hospitalfield in Arbroath is the historic home of the artist Patrick Allan-Fraser (1813 – 1890). The estate was left in trust to support artists, and became one of Scotland’s first Art Schools. Hospitalfield continues to operate an arts programme today with these same aims. The delightful walled garden and surrounding landscapes are beautiful and provide a lovely place to spend the afternoon.
