Gardens Open for Charity: Pitnacree House

Mature grounds surround an 18th century house with fine views south over the Strathtay valley. To the back of the house is a large well maintained walled garden, the main feature of which is a long walk lined with herbaceous planting, roses and tree peonies. Arches and stone sundials draw the eye from one part of the garden to another. Running through the garden is a small burn edged with bog and marginal plants, while to one side of the garden is a formal vegetable parterre. This is a beautiful
