Antigone
Antigone & the Wrath of Thebes’ is the third project from exciting, young Lancashire theatre company, Blind Corner. Based on Sophocles’ Ancient Greek masterpiece, this innovative and boundary pushing multi-disciplinary piece tells the story of one young woman’s fight for justice in the face of war, tyranny and oppression. When her brother is refused a burial for supposed crimes against his king, Antigone risks all to honour his memory and give him the internment that she believes he deserves.
Not suitable for children under 14 due to some bad language and potentially distressing subject matter.
