Hearts & Flowers and Vinegar Valentines
Have fun this half term by creating Victorian themed Valentine Crafts at Ripon’s Victorian Workhouse. Roll up your sleeves and do some felting to create hearts from wool strands. Plant some Heartsease seedlings to take home. Also known as Love-in-idleness, this plant was used as a love potion in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
