The Matt Holborn Quartet
Matt Holborn’s Gypsy Jazz Quartet are inspired by the music and legacy of Django Reinhardt. Their music puts a 21st century spin on the classic Hot Club Jazz sound of 1930’s Paris (featuring Stephane Grappell). With jazz violin, lead and rhythm guitar and double bass, this is a band of equals who all share the same love of anything that swings and their performance reminds you that this music can be fun, new and exciting whilst still maintaining its traditions.
