The Somme and Mametz Remembered
The story of the 38th (Welsh) Division and their struggle at the Battle of Mametz Wood – the first major offensive made by Welsh volunteer soldiers during World War 1.
Opening 100 years after the battle, the exhibition explores the role of the Welsh during the Somme campaign through objects, images, sound and multimedia.
