NGS Open Garden - Crosswater Farm

Charity garden opening under the National Garden Scheme. Idyllic 6 acre woodland garden. Plantsman’s collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, incl rare species collected in the Himalayas, hybrids raised by the owners. Everything from alpine dwarfs to architectural large leaved trees. Ponds, stream and companion plantings incl sorbus, magnolias and Japanese acers. Trial gardens of new varieties.

For NGS: Sun 1, Mon 2 May (10-5). Adm £4, chd free. Home-made teas
