A series of exhibition pieces throughout The Workhouse investigating the changing use of the buildings and the people who lived in them. Discover the evolution of our medical and social welfare system as paupers became patients. Researched by the oral history team, the exhibition draws on individual recollections from staff and those who received care here during the twentieth century. Booking Not Needed.
