For nearly 30 years, this famous author and best known creator of 'Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland', spent part of each year at the home of his six unmarried sisters, The Chestnuts, next to Guildford Castle. He also spent his last year in Guildford before he died in 1898 and was buried on The Mount.
This talk celebrates the life and times of Rev. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll, and his strong connections with Guildford and the surrounding area.
