Steam Heritage
A weekend at the Royal Gunpowder Mills celebrating our industrial past with a special spotlight on the Victorian and Edwardian steam traction engine builders. A thoroughly family day out, there will be a ‘Thomas’ land train, a 7 ¼” railway ride and organs too, plus Steam-themed activities, Mad Lab and exhibitions.
Engines are coming from all over Essex and further afield from Oxfordshire to Ramsgate. See up close the historic 112 year old Clayton & Shuttleworth’s steam traction engine
See our website for more information and ticket prices which include a range of family tickets.
