Ghost Hunt at Fort Languard
Fort Languard is a Grade 1 listed building located at the mouth of the river Orwell. Originally built in 1543, this Fort has been rebuilt and added to over the years.
In 1667 in the second Dutch War it stood against the Dutch landing on Cottage Point as the Dutch marines attacked on the landward side.
For most of the 20 century the fort was used for barrack accommodation and in 1951 two of the older casemates were converted into a control room for use during the cold war.
