Happy Acres written by H. Connolly. The play is a comedy about a Health Farm (A Quality Establishment For The Pursuit of Fitness) where various guests arrive to be greeted by Mrs Comley who together with Mrs O, a hypnotist, helps them to lose pounds. The pounds they shed are not from their waistlines but their wallets. Everything runs fairly smoothly until Mrs Comley upsets Sam, the odd job man, who in retaliation mixes up the client’s paperwork for the hypnotist with comic results.
