Standon is a village in East Hertfordshire with a beautiful High Street and a Grade 1 listed Church. Ralph Sadleir, Chancellor to Elizabeth 1 lived at the Standon Lordship and the garden will be open on that day. You can try your hand at Croquet on the lawn!In addition there will be fourteen gardens open along the High Street and Mill End. All of these are within easy walking distance and are very different in character.
