Sutton House and Breaker's Yard - The History of Pies and Picnics at Sutton House
East London pie maker Kathryn Packer will be talking to you about the origins and traditions of picnics through the ages. Kathryn has been perfecting her 15th Century recipes using mouth-watering hot water crust pastry, made with organic dripping and often selling out every at a local farmers market. She is treating us to some tasters of her historic menus as well as talking about the evolution of the pie and the history of the picnic.
