Brimming with inspiration, variety and beauty, Barnsdale is the former and spiritual home of Gardeners’ World. Initially created by much-loved presenter Geoff Hamilton, these
eco-friendly, organic, peat-free gardens now comprise 38 individually designed gardens and features full of choice plants, creative ideas and all laid out with one 8 acre garden. There are original and new gardens to explore, including a wildlife garden, reclaimed garden, artisan's cottage garden, cutting garden, seaside retreat, winter border and much, much more.
Our Helenium Tea Room serves a range of hot and cold food for you to enjoy, most of which is sourced locally and some out of our own garden! Once fully refreshed, head over to our Plant Nursery which stocks a very wide range of garden plants, including some rare and unusual gems, so that you can take home a little bit of Barnsdale for your own garden. Our Gift Shop stocks a range of bespoke Barnsdale gifts, as well as other garden related items.
