Come and enjoy pottery painting at The Lemon Tree, a quaint independent pottery café in the heart of Bourne End.
Choose from mugs, plates, bowls, ornaments, money boxes, pet bowls and plenty more, then decorate your piece using our wide range of paints. No artistic experience is needed—our friendly team will explain everything and help whenever you need it.
Pottery painting is suitable for children and adults and makes a lovely family activity, rainy-day treat, relaxed catch-up with friends or something different to enjoy together. We also offer baby hand and footprint keepsakes, dog paw prints, children’s parties for ages 10+, group visits, team events and Thursday evening Paint & Sip sessions.
The £5 studio fee per painter includes 90 minutes at your table, all paints and materials, glazing and kiln firing. Pottery is chosen and paid for separately, with pieces starting from £8 and lots of choice around £15–£25. Your finished pottery will normally be ready to collect in arou

Pottery painting sessions run seven days a week:9:30am–11:00am
12:00pm–1:30pm
2:30pm–4:00pm
Thursday Paint & Sip: 7:00pm–9:00pm, pre-booking required. £5 studio fee per painter, plus your chosen pottery. Pottery starts from £6.
