Upottery Airfield was an important area before and after the D-Day landings. See the story with photographs, narrative, uniforms and artefacts in a genuine refurbished Nissen Hut. Exhibits include an enlisted man's bunking area and a local history/home front room, with evacuee, land army, WVS, Wardens and make do and mend information. A new RAF exhibit reflects the local activities during WW2.........................
