Lymm Historic Transport Day
An annual celebration of Lymm's Transport Heirtage on a huge scale that takes over the village for the day. You will find the Bridgewater Canal packed with historic working boats, some of which you can board and explore. Next to the canal our Traction Engine collection recalls the days when these industrial work horses helped build our roads and thresh our corn.
On the main event field you will find around 400 classic vehicles plus a huge variety of stalls and entertainment from live rockabilly music and dancing to military displays and stunt bike performances. There are even big indoor LEGO and model railways exhibition that children of all ages( right up to 80 and beyond ) will enjoy.
Parking is made easy by the use of two close by park and rides, serviced by a fleet of vintage buses that will bring you to the heart of the village - all included in your admission price.
Sunday June 23rd 10 till 5 with vehicle parade through the village at 10.30 and historic sailpast at 4.30pm
Tickets Adult £5 Child £3 Family 2+2 £12 - includes parking and park and ride.
