Canons Park, Edgware

Canons Park is a listed, Grade Two, Historic Landscape, containing several listed buildings. As well as acres of open parkland which are great for picnics, ball games and country walks, the park is planted with a stunning variety of native and specimen trees and shrubs, bordering walkways, woodland trails and semi-enclosed ‘meadows’ that are a delight at any time of the year.

The park has an excellent spring and summertime cafe and there is a fantastic adventure playground, a green gym, basketball hoop and climbing boulder.

The George V Memorial Garden is Edgware’s best kept secret; a walled garden with informally-planted borders and flowerbeds, magnolia and blossom trees, a delightful central pond and an attractive shelter. A little haven for those who just want to get away from it all, we ask all dog owners to keep their pets on a lead whilst in the garden.

Regular activities include parkrun, bird watching walks, events and musical afternoons.
Free entry. Open 24 hours all year round.
