Robin Hood and his Merry Persons
Robin Hood and his Merry Persons is one of several written by Fraser Charlton which have been performed by The Worcester Gilbert & Sullivan Society. The story is a satire on political extremism which comes to the conclusion, in an appropriately Gilbertian fashion, that “the art of politics is the art of compromise”.
This satirical musical is rooted in Monty Python and Blackadder, and provides a wide range of principal parts, as well as explaining the foundation of Parliamentary democracy!
