This course will examine the recent rapid growth of China as it has asserted its huge power to capture world markets. This expansion has enabled it to control the South China Sea and become the world’s second largest economy. We will look at China’s growing confrontation with India
as well as the country’s relations with Japan and the USA and the relative isolation of Australia.
