Ocean Lava Wales has become a favourite amongst athletes of all abilities, and the event, which is the only UK qualifier for the Lanzarote grand finals, lived up to expectations and more. The middle distance event was described by many as tough, and the Wales Sprint Triathlon held the same challenges, being on the same route.
