First World War Acoustic Mirror
Heritage Open Day: Come along and see the recently restored acoustic mirror which was built in 1917 after the Zeppelin attack in April 1916. The concrete, concave dish is only one of six acoustic mirrors built during the First World War that is still standing. Local History volunteers and costumed interpreters will be on hand to answer any questions.
