WEA Adult Education Course - Emerging from humble Jewish origins, Sir Michael Balcon was a pioneer and leader of British cinema. Associated with the celebrated Ealing Comedies, he also gave Hitchcock his first directing role.The course illustrates Balcon's career with extensive film extracts.
