WEA Adult Education Course - From the Chatterley trial to the satire boom, the early 1960s were a time of enormous social change. The Beatles played the Cavern, the Profumo scandal changed politics, and the Cold War was at its height. This course examines all of these developments, with a special focus on literature and social history.
