WEA Adult Education Course - The famous photograph of the Slade School picnic of 1912 introduces some of Britain's greatest and innovative artists: Carrington, Gertler, Nash, Nevinson, Bomberg & Spencer; all embracing modernity and new ideas from Europe. This course introduces the leading members of the British artistic avant-garde studying at the Slade School of Art in 1912.
