Woodend Mining Museum is the only Museum in the Burnley area dedicated to Coal Mining and it is opening its doors for the Heritage Open Days. Come and view a superb collection of Coal Mining Memorabilia, much of it donated by local men who spent their lives under ground in the Burnley area hewing coal.

Open Daily from 11am until 4pm, admission free but donations appreciated. The site is wheelchair friendly we have accessible toilets
