An evening at the Palace - Blondel
Colchester Early Music regulars Blondel Medieval and Renaissance wind band return to the series with their uniquely blended shawm, recorder and bagpipes sounds. Expolring the repertoire of the 15thc Spanish songbooks we find catchy Iberian melodies rubbing shoulders with some of the greatest hits of the era from accross Europe, including works by de la Torre and Dufay.

Doors open 2pm, concerts begin 2.30pm followed by tea/coffee & biscuits (donations to church funds) and chat with performers.
