Handel's Messiah
This year sees the 92nd performance of Handel's Messiah at Spendmore Lane Methodist Church in Coppull.
The conductor is Phil Davenport, musical director of Chorley choir The Guild Singers, and the organist is Peter Kwater. There are invited professional soloists who come to sing the main parts as well as a small orchestra of professional musicians.
Part 1 starts at 2.30pm with Parts 2&3 at 6pm following a sumptuous buffet tea provided by the church congregation.
