Piatti Quartet with Krzysztof Chorzelski (viola)
Piatti Quartet who gave such a memorable performance in February 2016 makes a return visit. This time they are joined by Krzysztof Chorzelski of the Belcea Quartet to give us Dvorák’s finest piece of chamber music, his American Quintet. Also on the programme is an unusual but great fun piece by the Spanish composer Joaquín Turina, and then perhaps the finest of all string quartets, Beethoven’s late B-flat with the original Grosse Fuge finale.
