Talk: Working For Dorothy Shuttleworth
Cyril Thomas arrived at The House when he was 18 years old, from his home in St Helena to The House in Bedfordshire, to work for Mrs Dorothy Shuttleworth. This talk recalls his warm memories of his life in service as Dorothy’s footman and is an intriguing insight into life at The House during this period.
