6 Hands Ensemble - John Williams, John Etheridge and Gary Ryan.
6 Hands Ensemble continue their series of UK performances as a new collaborative guitar trio. They will be performing a series of concerts together in 2016 and 2017 featuring a colourful and varied programme of solos, duos and trios with performances at venues in London and throughout the UK.
John Williams, classical guitar virtuoso, is known for his wide-ranging approach to repertory, which includes appearances playing electric rock guitar and international music. John recorded "Cavatina" by Stanley Myers and some years later Cleo Laine wrote lyrics and recorded it as the song "He Was Beautiful" accompanied by Williams. The guitar version became a worldwide hit single when it was used as the theme tune to the Oscar-winning film The Deer Hunter (1978). Williams is a visiting professor and honorary member of the Royal Academy of Music in London.
