Robert Vaughan a'i Lyfrgell
To mark 350 years since the death of antiquarian Robert Vaughan (1591/2–1667) of Hengwrt, the Library’s Curator of Manuscripts evaluates the life and work of one of the nation’s leading benefactors. Vaughan’s priceless manuscripts form the basis of the Peniarth collection, now recognized by UNESCO as one of international importance.
