An original 1927 NGS pioneer garden. 27 acres of mature parklands, with the R Irfon bordering the property. The grounds were planted early C20 by the Vivien family who were plant hunters. Many varied specimen trees form an Arboretum. Large displays of rhododendrons at time of opening. An Edwardian Rose archway has been recently replanted with David Austin roses.
