The garden surrounds an 1841 former vicarage and extends to 3½ acres. It has been redesigned to create an attractive open garden laid mainly to lawn with a mixture of mature and younger specimen trees and shrubs. There are shrub, rose and herbaceous beds together with a productive vegetable and fruit area. The walled courtyard has tender plants incl many varieties of agapanthus and hostas.
