Southill Park is one of the founder gardens which first opened its gates to NGS visitors in 1927. In the ornamental garden, there is a formal rose garden, a sunken garden and a pond. Directly in front of the main facade are four herbaceous flower beds designed by Tom Stuart-Smith. The parkland was designed by Lancelot ’Capability’ Brown and a large conservatory houses the tropical collection.
