This is the third National Festival of LGBT History which, in 2017, takes place in Manchester, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Coventry, Exeter, Preston, London, York and Shrewsbury! Another amazing weekend of presentations, key note speakers, contributions from schools, entertainment, film, young people and schools contributing Friday Night Launch – with a Civic reception (this is free – but ticketed – event booked out last year so keep an eye out for ticket releases) Saturday Schools slot – open to all to come and find out what local schools have been doing and engage with young people’s experiences through video and conversation Saturday Presentations – a series of tasters on LGBT themed subjects and wow, what a range we have coming in Theatre, performance, song, films, exhibitions .. and probably more!
