Charity Garden Open Day: The Quoy of Houton
An historic walled garden a stone's throw away from the sea and completely restored in 2008. The garden is planted to withstand winds in excess of 100 mph and features drystone walling features, raised beds and a 60 foot water rill. The planting reflects its coastal location and is planted in the cottage garden style with towering allium, many varieties of geranium and plants collected from around Europe.
