Charity Garden Open Day: Wellbutts
At 960 feet the garden was started in 2000 from a two acre bare site around a renovated croft cottage. In an exposed and elevated position, the hedge and shrub planting gives some protection for the many new and now established varied herbaceous beds, whilst retaining the open views. There are two large natural ponds with ducks, a rill fed 'boggery', greenhouses, fish pond and covered areas for our fine collection of summer begonia baskets.
