Aultgowrie Mill is an 18th century converted water mill set in gardens, river and woodlands of 13 acres. Features include a wooded island, a half acre wildflower meadow and a wildlife pond, all with outstanding views of the surrounding hills. The maturing gardens have terraces, lawns, two mixed orchards and raised vegetable beds with glasshouse and a third mile river walk. BBC Beechgrove Garden featured this garden in July 2014. Directions: From the south, turn left at Muir of Ord Distillery, Aultgowrie Mill is 3.2 miles. From the north and west, after Marybank Primary School, Aultgowrie Mill is 1.7 miles up the hill.
