Charity Garden Open Day: Kellie Castle with Balcaskie

BALCASKIE: In 1905 George Elgood wrote that Balcaskie was 'one of the best and most satisfying gardens in the British Isles'. Over the centuries, the gardens have seen input from Gilpin, Bryce & Nesfield. Today the gardens are at the start of a period of restoration with help from the National Trust for Scotland. KELLIE CASTLE: This superb garden, around 400 years old, was sympathetically restored by the Lorimer family in the late 19th century. The Arts and Crafts style garden has a
12:00pm-5:00pm. £8.00 for entrance to both gardens. Proceeds to Maggie's, Queens Nurses, NTS Garden Fund & Perennial
