Charity Garden Open Day: Douneside House

Douneside is the former home of Lady MacRobert who developed these magnificent gardens in the early to mid-1900s. Ornamental borders and water gardens surround a spectacular infinity lawn overlooking the Deeside hills. A large walled garden supplies vegetables and cut flowers and also houses a large ornamental greenhouse. A new arboretum displays over 130 trees amongst mown grass paths and walking trails behind Douneside offer breathtaking views across the Howe of Cromar and beyond. Directions:

2:00pm-5:00pm. £5.00, concession £3.00, accompanied children free. Proceeds to SG Development Fund & SG Beneficiaries
