Charity Garden Open Day: Dunninald Castle
Dunninald Castle is a family home built in 1824, set in policies developed during the 17th and 18th centuries. It offers many attractive features to the visitor including a beech avenue planted around 1670. Snowdrops in spring and bluebells in May carpet the woods and wild garden. At its best in July, the highlight of Dunninald is the walled garden with traditional mixed borders, vegetables, soft fruits, fruit trees and greenhouse.
