Charity Garden Open Day: Kincarrathie House
Kincarrathie House was originally the home of the whisky baron and philanthropist A.K. Bell (1868-1942). It is now a beautiful private residential care home for 44 residents. The house sits in extensive grounds, which incorporates 6.5 acres of parkland, a woodland walk and a walled garden of about 1 acre comprising of herbaceous borders, a small orchard and four large vegetable plots providing seasonal produce for use within the home.
