Charity Garden Open Day: Kirklands
Kirklands, built in 1832 on the site of an older house, has been the Hart family home for nearly 40 years. Peter and Gill began creating a garden and it is still a work in progress. There are herbaceous borders, a bog garden by the burn, a woodland garden with rhododendrons and a carpet of bluebells, a terraced wall garden with raised beds and espalier fruit trees.
